In week three, I shared how to make this simple lint bin with a Dollar Tree trash can. This was the perfect opportunity to use some of my vintage patterns with missing pieces.įour Dollar Tree frames, and $.75 worth of paper from Hobby Lobby later, and I have a small gallery wall for under $5! My last goal for this space was to add decor and artwork. This adorable little chandelier was a Marketplace find for $25! Laundry Room Decor and Artwork So, I was able to put this coat rack together for free! A New Light Fixture We had some old hooks removed from the kids closets, and a scrap of base trim. Instead, I made a simple coat rack behind the laundry door. With the hutch taking up so much real estate, I didn’t have space to make a traditional hanging bar. The rough pine is beautifully rustic, perfect to add some cozy farmhouse charm. We built a butcher block style countertop out of pine wood we already had. Can you tell I have a bit of a thing for green and pink?įor this accent wall, I tried out peel and stick wallpaper, and I LOVE it! It was easy to apply, and creates so much impact with just a small area. I had a partial can of paint in this lovely grey green, and used it to paint the entry door. There are just some things that do not fit in a cute basket or glass bottle! 2. Because…realistically, not everything is display worthy in the laundry room all the time. I love the look of the chalkboards, and it was the perfect way to create more hidden storage. Then, I turned two of the doors into chalkboards. I found this one for free on Facebook Marketplace, and it was the inspiration for the entire makeover!įirst, I painted the hutch white. You can find an incredible deal on a lonesome hutch top. The star of the show is this beautiful hutch top.Īfter I took down the shelves, I started pondering on using a hutch top instead of cabinets.
